WOODBRIDGE MERLOT (Woodbridge, California)
2000 Merlot. Aging in small oak barrels gives wines softer, more developed flavors with toasty, vanilla nuances. We use tradional handcrafted barrels to marry our Merlot's lush blackberry, plum and violet flavors with subtle oak to create a velvety wine with a lingering finish.

J. LOHR CABERNET SAUVIGNON (Paso Robles, California)
Our 1999 Estates Cabernet Sauvignon is grown on well-drained sandy and gravelly loam soils from the Arbuckle, Nacimiento, and San Ysidro Series in Paso Robles. Much of our vineyard is own rooted with clone 7 and 8 Cabernet Sauvignon--a small berried, small clustered clone. The Paso Robles Estrella River area is truly unique for growing Cabernet. During the growing season, temperatures reach their 90 to 110 degree F maximum in the mid-afternoon and their 45 to 55 degree F minimum about twelve hours later. This fluctuation ensures Cabernet Sauvignon of ripe and enticing berry aromas with excellent color and sturdy, but supple tannin.

COLUMBIA CREST CABERNET SAUVIGNON (Columbia Valley, Washington)
1998. Cabernet Sauvignon is considered by many the "king" of red wines. Columbia Crest is one of the few wineries in the world to grow this noble variety on its own rootstock, allowing for the clearest expression of its flavors. Extended aging in small oak barrels develops complexity and a remarkable smoothness.

We selected the best cabernet sauvignon grapes from our estate and neighboring vineyards for this wine. ECCO DOMANI MERLOT (Villalta, Trento, Italy)
Ecco Domani, translated "Here's Tomorrow", is a 1999 Merlot Delle Venezie, a contemporary Italian wine made for today's zesty, lighter style cuisine. Our Merlot grapes are selected from the Venezie, a premier growing region in Northeast Italy. This area is known for the steep valleys of the Dolomite Mountains and the fertile plains of the Piave River valley near Venice, ideal terrain for cultivating our premium Merlot. The result is a wine with a spicy character mixed with aromas of currants and black cherries. The wine is medium-bodied with a smooth, velvety finish. Try with grilled meats, fowl, and pasta puttanesca.

BERINGER FOUNDERS ESTATE SHIRAZ (Napa Valley, California)
1998 Shiraz. This wine honors the heritage of Frederick and Jacob Beringer, who purchased the original estate in 1875. Our 1998 Shiraz is a fitting tribute to their legacy--its silky texture was enhanced by aging in French and American oak. This well-balanced Shiraz has rich flavors of berries, black currants and chocolate and can be enjoyed with a wide variety of dishes.

2000 Syrah Paso Robles. Gaelic for "Dream" or "Vision", this name is given to the only Syrah we produce that is a blend of vineyard sources. It is also our sole Syrah which receives American Oak cooperage. It exhibits herbaceous, peppery, berry fruit, medium body, and good texture as elegance.

BIN 555 SHIRAZ (South Eastern Australia)
A medium to full bodied wine with the distinctive characters of rich plum, pepper and ripe fruit. The accompanying oak tannins, the result of elements of the master blend maturing in oak hogsheads for up to fifteen months, lead to a smooth lasting finish. Bin 555 Shiraz will cellar well and will complement most red meats, game and cheese.

Our Kendall-Jackson 1999 Vintner's Reserve Syrah is reminiscent of the robust fruitful red wines produced in France's Rhone region.
