BEAULIEU VINEYARD CHARDONNAY (Santa Rosa, California)
BV's History of planting in the Carneros Region spans over 30 years. BV was among the first wineries to recognize this cool, foggy region located north of San Francisco Bay for producing Chardonnay with intense character and flavor. Our winemakers take great care to preserve this unique character in the wine, and the result is a rich, complex wine that matches well with roasted chicken or your favorite shellfish.

J. LOHR CHARDONNAY (San Jose, California)
Our estates Chardonnay is grown on Elder and Chualar loam and Arroyo Seco gravelly, sandy loam soils. This two to four feet of loamy topsoil is scattered and underlain by "Greenfield Potatoes" or what we call "Riverstones". Not only do these stones provide escellent drainage and a boundary layer for vine rooting depth, they also store and release heat during the early evening hours. The Arroyo Seco appellation of Monterey County is a windy, cold, hostile environment for growing grapevines, but there is no better place for creating luscious, intensely fruited Chardonnay. The stone fruit characters of nectarine and peach and the unctuous mouthfeel are hallmarks of our Riverstone Chardonnay and the Arroyo Seco appellation.
